Doctor Gorman attended Marion High School and graduated in 1979. He then graduated from Indiana University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Later that year, he started his dental training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. After his sophomore year, he married his beautiful wife Cindy, and they lived in Broad Ripple for the next two years. Doctor Gorman graduated from dental school in 1987, and he was accepted to an orthodontic residency in St. Louis at Washington University. While in St. Louis, Cindy gave birth to their first child, Chelsea, in early ’88. He finished his degree in 1989 and returned to Marion to practice with his father Jack Gorman. During the next two years they traveled to St. Louis every month to teach lingual (behind the teeth) orthodontics to the residents. In 1990, Cindy and Courtney were blessed with the birth of their son Tripp, and a year later their youngest child Grace was born.
Dr. Gorman loves what he does and would love to sculpt a perfect smile just for you. In 1998, Doctor Gorman became a Board Certified Orthodontist. Not a required certification, but one that says he took the additional step to have his cases evaluated and judged by a panel of his peers. It was a lot of extra work, but it lets patients know that they are receiving the highest level of care possible. In 2001, he became a certified Invisalign provider, specializing in Invisalign treatment ever since. He’s honored to be in the top one percent of North American Invisalign providers.
Besides his family and orthodontics, Dr. G’s other passions are big mountain skiing, golf, ocean sailing, and fishing. He still teaches once a month at Indiana University’s Orthodontic Department, where he instructs residents in all aspects of orthodontic therapy with an emphasis on Invisalign. This was also where he and Dr. Bunch met.
Dr. Bunch was born in Guymon, Oklahoma, and grew up in Lebanon, Indiana. After graduating from Lebanon High School in 1996, he went on to study at Depauw University and Ball State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Dentistry.
He received His Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with distinction. Dr. Bunch then went on to receive his Masters of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2006.
Dr. Bunch has utilized Invisalign to treat patients since 2004, and he is grateful to be one of the top 1% providers for Invisalign in North America. He is an active member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, Indiana Dental Association, Indiana Orthodontic Association, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and past President of the Indiana University Orthodontic Alumni Association.
Dr. Bunch has been part-time faculty at Indiana University School of Dentistry Orthodontic Residency program since 2008. He is married to Lindsay Bunch of Indianapolis. They have two boys, Cash and Luke, and enjoy spending time together as a family.
Dr. Carly grew up in New Castle, Indiana, and graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School. She went on to study at the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Theology.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she held leadership positions with the American Student Dental Association, Indiana University School of Dentistry Kids’ Club, and Indiana University Student Outreach Clinic, as well as being elected to membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Carly then completed her three-year orthodontics specialty training in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan, receiving her Masters of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Most recently, Dr. Carly completed the American Board of Orthodontists certification process, earning the distinction of becoming a board certified orthodontist.
Well trained in providing Invisalign treatment, Dr. Carly is an active member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, Indiana Dental Association, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists.
She loves traveling, reading, eating good food, taking long walks with her yellow lab Lacey, and spending time with her husband, David, step-children Henry and Sylvia, and their newborn son, Louis.
Dr. Jennifer works exclusively at our office in Fishers, Indiana. Born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana, Dr. Russell graduated from Elkhart Central High School, before earning her undergraduate degree from Indiana University – Bloomington. She then attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry for her Masters of Science in Dentistry, Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and orthodontic residency. She continues to be a part of the School of Dentistry today, passing on her knowledge to the next generation of health professionals as a part–time faculty member.
To Dr. Russell, practicing orthodontics means getting to know her patients on a personal level, using her creative and technical abilities to help others feel great about their smile and boost their confidence. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Russell has been using clear aligners to move teeth since her residency, and — after seeing a vast improvement in the technology and results — began utilizing Invisalign routinely several years ago.
A resident of Indianapolis for the past 20 years, Dr. Russell and her husband, Joel, have four children: Alex, Finn, Isabel and Theodore. In her spare time, Dr. Russell enjoys running marathons, visiting big cities, reading, playing with her kids, and volunteering at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Dr. Oberley grew up in Monroeville, Indiana, and attended Bishop Luers High School. She later attended the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
From there, Dr. Oberley received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she also served as president of the Public Health Dentistry Club and member of the Indiana University Student Outreach Clinic. Away from the office, she loves spending time with family and friends and traveling as much as possible!
Love this office! Helpful, professional, and knowledgeable doctor and staff. Haven’t had 1 issue with them. They’ve got their routine down pat.
Amazing experience they all made my daughter and I feel very comfortable, all the ladies were extremely nice. Very well informed. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Excellent every time we’ve brought our kids. Thorough evaluations, knowledgeable doctors/staff, great with kids, and great results
This 64 year old had teeth that had begun to overlap in my adult years, which was attributed to having 4 good teeth removed as a child for "Crowded teeth". I waited to fund Invisalign until incurring no penalty for taking IRA funds, other than taxes. I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Jason Bunch by my dentist, Dr. Jack Nicewander. Dr. Bunch and his Carmel, IN office staff see numerous children and young adults, but welcome the young at heart as well. I trust them and find them accommodating, efficient, professional and compassionate.
Personal and professional, everyone always takes great care of my sensitive mouth teen! This is our first experience with needing orthodontia, when it’s time for my youngest to get braces, we’ll choose this place again in a heartbeat. From the team up front to the team in the back, everyone is so nice and yet so efficiently on task, it is quite impressive. They have reasonable pricing and are willing to help with a payment plan. Keep up the great work!!
Amazing office! My daughter was home from college and had an orthodontic emergency. She was not a previous patient. Dr Moran was kind enough to see her. The entire staff was amazing. I would never go anywhere else!
Very great place! Went there for my first time today and i felt so comfortable and they are helping me fix my mouth!! Love love love!
Heather and Dr Carly were awesome! Friendly, informative, and professional. Office was very inviting. We had a great appointment and look forward to the next couple of years of working with them.
Fantastic staff who put the person (and their teeth!) at the center of the experience. Child-friendly waiting areas. I've had nothing but good experiences over my nearly 10 years with Gorman and Bunch. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Cannot say enough good things about this practice! I've been to Westfield and Carmel locations, both are beautiful with helpful and friendly staff. Dr Bunch is experienced, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his patients and strives to get the best results possible for each one!
